Becoming a New Momma

I become a new momma of May 25, 2010 to Matthew and since then it has been the most wonderful experience of all. When I was little the doctors told me that it would be nearly impossible or impossible to have any kids. Then the nurse told me that I would make a perfect mistress. That made me cry ever since I was little I always wanted to be a momma and a wife! I knew that was my destiny!
My son and husband are the most wonderful part of my life. My husband has done a lot for me and our son. In the beginning we had a tough time with some family issues, which I don't think I want to go into, but we were able to make it through everything. I will always stand by my husband no matter what. And with everything that had happened he is still with me supporting my and our son, and going to school to provide for us better. I can honestly say that I love him a lot!
Chip (my sons nickname) is a very stubborn little boy and he is determined. He tries to act like a big boy and be able to do a lot big boy stuff but he is only 8 months. He started to walk with the help of things around him and he does love to play "catch me if you can momma" everyday. But seeing him learn new things everyday brings a smile to my face.  To see that he is proud of himself for something that he does, he gives you a big grin. Being a momma has had its ups and downs but I wouldn't change anything about it.
Don't get me wrong sometimes I do worry that I don't have the grasp on this momma thing, but most everybody, especially my husband reminds that I am doing a great job. People say that when your baby is a happy baby that it is because of good parenting! I want my son to know that I do everything for him and that I wouldn't change anything. I am trying my best being a new momma and all. All I can say is that I just need to take it one day at a time for Chip!
